The TTPOA is proud to announce the 2010 TTPOA Conference will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The 2010 Conference will once again feature feature many new tracks of instruction, including:

• Field Operations
• Weapon Skills and Enhancement
• Leadership and Command Staff Operations
• Advanced Tactical Combat Operations
• Terrorism
• Marksman and Sniper Operations
• Defensive Tactics and Counter measures

The trade show will be held on Thursday, April 8th and Friday, April 9th, with classes beginning on Saturday, April 10th.  Select operator and instructor courses will extend through Wednesday, April 14th and possibly through Thursday, April 15th.  We are currently developing our list of course offerings and will have more information available soon.

The TTPOA is proud to introduce our new Training Voucher program.  Each paid attendee at the 2010 TTPOA SWAT Conference, will receive one (1) Training Voucher which can be used to apply a 30% discount towards a future TTPOA training course.  The voucher can be applied towards any TTPOA training class and must be redeemed by December 31, 2010. 
 
Example: By taking advantage of this program; you would save $120.00 for a course originally priced at $400.00!
 
As with any program, some restrictions will apply.  The training vouchers can only be redeemed for courses taught by TTPOA Adjunct Instructors and cannot be used toward annual membership fees, or courses taught by 3rd party instructors contracted by the TTPOA.  Furthermore, the training vouchers can only be used once and cannot be transferred to another person.   Upon redemption, the status of the Training Voucher becomes "inactive".

Frequently Asked Questions
 
Q. What if I am registering for a Basic SWAT Course, along with 1 or 2 other members of my agency who do not have a training voucher, or who have already redeemed theirs?
 
A. The Training Voucher will be applied to that specific person who holds the valid voucher and, upon registration, the status of the voucher will be verified and the 30% discount will be applied to that person's indidvidual tuition fee.  The remaining attendees tuition fee would remain original, full, tuition amount.  If all 3 attendees currently possess a valid Training Voucher that have yet to be redeemed, the registrant will have the opportunity to key in the voucher code for each attendee to properly apply the 30% discount to each of the attendee's tuition fee.

Q.  What if I use my Training Voucher for one course, but have to cancel my registration due to a scheduling or work conflict?  Can I re-obtain my Voucher for use towards a different course?
 
A.  Yes. As long as you notify the TTPOA Regional Director who was hosting the original class, arrangements can be made to recover and "reset" your Training Voucher's status. However; if a registration is canceled past the registration deadline, the voucher will also be canceled and considered inactive or no longer valid. The Training Voucher will still need to be redeemed by December 31, 2010.
