PRESIDENT Gary Heath
Houston PD
Officer Gary Heath has been with the Houston Police Department since 1991. He has worked Night Shift Patrol, a patrol division Tactical Unit and has served on the HPD SWAT Detail full time since 1999. Officer Heath currently serves as an Entry Team Leader. During his career Officer Heath has responded to hundreds of special threat situations and high risk warrant service. Officer Heath has received numerous commendations for his actions and is a certified TECLOSE instructor and TECLOSE firearms instructor. Officer Heath is also a certified instructor in impact munitions, diversionary devices, chemical agents, active shooter, shotgun breaching and a rappel master . Officer Heath has completed the Simmunition Supervisor Safety Course and is an adjunct instructor with the TTPOA, ALERRT and the Houston Police Department.

VICE PRESIDENT Robert Flores
El Paso County Sheriff's Office
Robert “Bobby” Flores is a Master Peace Officer and 22 year veteran of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. He has worked in the Jail Division, Patrol Division, Training Division, and is now a Lieutenant assigned to the Special Operations Division. He joined the EPCSO SWAT Team in 1993. He served as an Entry Team and Precision Marksman Team Leader, and has worked every position within the team. He was assigned as the Team's Tactical Commander until Novemer, 2010.
“Bobby” is a TCLEOSE Instructor/ Firearms Instructor, and has attended numerous Operator and Instructor Level Courses in the Tactical Field. He served as TTPOA Region IV Director from 2000 to 2008 and was appointed to Director of Operations in April 2008.

SECRETARY Tracy Weems
UT System Police
Tracy currently serves with the University of Texas Police System on the UT Austin campus. He moved from the Attorney General's Office in December of 2011 where he was assigned to the Human Trafficking Task Force.
Tracy retired from the Abilene Police Department after 19 years, retiring in August of 2010 as a Lt. While in Abilene he served as the Perimeter and Entry Team leader and Tactical Commander. He is certified to instruct Impact Munitions, Low Light CQB and also instructs Level 1 and Train the Trainer Active Shooter Response with the ALERRT Center in San Marcos along with being a Firearms and Patrol Rifle Instructor.
Tracy holds a BBA from Hardin Simmons University and has completed Leadership Command College in 2000 and attended the FBI National Academy, Session 213.

TRAINING COORDINATOR Lonnie Tullos
Harris County Sheriff's Office
Sergeant Lonnie Tullos has been with the Harris County Sheriff's Office since 1997 and has served on the Emergeancy Response Team (ERT) full time since 2000. He is a certified TECLOSE Instructor and TECLOSE Firearms Instructor. He is also a certified instructor in chemical agents, active shooter, SPEAR and Live Fire Shoot-House.

Austin PD
Steve has been with the Austin Police Department for 16 years, ten of which, he was assigned to the Austin SWAT team as an entry team member, Training Coordinator and Corporal. Steve served the TTPOA on the Executive Board and Editor of Command magazine for 5 years. Steve is a certified TCLEOSE instructor for the Austin Police Department and the TTPOA.

Paul holds a Master Peace Officer Certification and has been a member of the Irving Police Department for 20 years. He has been assigned to the SWAT Team for the past 16 years and currently serves as a sniper. He has served on the TTPOA Board since 2000 as Region 7 Director, Interim Vice-President and is currently the Vendor Coordinator.
