PAST PRESIDENT Shannon Couch
Abilene PD
Shannon is a Master Peace Officer and has been a police officer in Abilene since 1988. His assignments have included Patrol, SWAT, Training and is currently assigned as a detective. He served as a Regional Director, Secretary, and Vice President before becoming President. He also served as a member of the TTPOA Training Advisory Committee.

TRAINING ADVISOR David Flory
Bedford PD
David Flory is a twenty-eight year veteran of the Bedford Police Department where serves as the Police Chief. He has served as a SWAT Team operator, Team Leader and Unit Commander. David has his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Wesleyan University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (class 186). He has been involved with the TTPOA since the mid-1980's and is the past Director for Region VI.

TRNG ADVSR Dan Severn
College Station PD (retired)
Dan Severn served with College Station PD from 1979-2008, retiring in July of 2008 after 29 years and 4 months. While with CSPD, he served as team leader of CSPD's SWAT unit from 1990-2008. Dan has bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M University, and is a 1997 graduate of the FBI National Academy. He is now Assistant Manager of Traffic/Parking Operations with Texas A&M University. Dan also served as editor of Command from 2000-2004, and has served on the training advisory board since 2004.
