Course Details:

John served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman, Scout Sniper, and Sniper Instructor. As an infantryman, John was assigned to an amphibious assault boat company. Later John became a Marine Scout Sniper Team Leader where he and his team provided Marine Infantry Battalions with Reconnaissance & Surveillance, precision rifle fire, and the direction of supporting arms. John was also a Marine Sniper Instructor at 1st Marine Division Sniper School, and an Urban Sniper Instructor with 1st Special Operation Training Group. After leaving the Marine Corps, John entered the private security sector.

As a Marine and civilian, John has traveled throughout the world serving as a Marine, Instructor, Sniper, and as a High Risk Dignitary Protection Specialist. John is currently a police officer with the Garland, Texas Police Department and is assigned to the Patrol Division.

Course Topics:

Tiger Valley is hosting a 12-hour precision rifle clinic at the Facility in Waco, Texas. This will be a fast paced clinic with the emphasis on delivering fast and accurate shots down range. Shooters can expect to shoot from 100 to 600 yards at stationary, movers, bobbers and stop and go targets. Each shot fired will be marked in the pits for your evaluation, as well as all movers and bobbers. TCLEOSE credit will be awarded for this class. This will be a great chance for those wanting to confirm long-range dope or to actually get a no angle dope to 600 yards. Tiger Valley generally has some very interesting winds to deal with, so we will have the range flags up for you use. Shooting will start at 9:00, please be at the range no later then 8:30 for safety and
