SECRETARY Tracy Weems
Abilene PD
Lt. Weems has been with the Abilene Police Department since 1991. He has served as the Perimeter and Entry Team leader and now serves as the Tactical and Bomb Squad Commander. Lt. Weems is certified to instruct Impact Munitions, Low Light CQB and also instructs Active Shooter/Homicide in Progress Response as an Adjunct Tier I Instructor with the ALERRT Center in San Marcos. Lt Weems holds a BBA from Hardin Simmons University and has completed Leadership Command College in 2000 and attended the FBI National Academy, Session 213. Lt. Weems previously served as TTPOA Region 5 Director.

VICE PRESIDENT Gary Heath
Houston PD
Officer Gary Heath has been with the Houston Police Department since 1991. He has worked Night Shift Patrol, a patrol division Tactical Unit and has served on the HPD SWAT Detail full time since 1999. Officer Heath currently serves as an Entry Team Leader. During his career Officer Heath has responded to numerous special threat situations and high risk warrant service. Officer Heath has received numerous commendations for his actions and is a certified TECLOSE instructor and TECLOSE firearms instructor. Officer Heath is also a certified instructor in impact munitions, chemical agents, active shooter, shotgun breaching and a rappel master . Officer Heath has completed the Simmunition Supervisor Safety Course and is an adjunct instructor with the TTPOA, ALERRT and the Houston Police Department.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Robert Flores
El Paso Cty SO
Robert “Bobby” Flores is a Master Peace Officer and 19 year veteran of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. He has worked in the Jail Division, Patrol Division, Training Division, and is now a Lieutenant assigned to the Training Academy. He served the EPCSO SWAT Team, as an Entry Team and Precision Marksman Team Leader, and has worked every position within the team. He has been on SWAT since 1993.
“Bobby” is a TCLEOSE Instructor/ Firearms Instructor, and has attended numerous Operator and Instructor Level Courses in the Tactical Field. He served as Region IV Director from 2000 to 2008 and was appointed to Director of Operations in April 2008.

Steve has been with the Austin Police Department for 14 years, the last eight of which, he has been assigned to the Austin SWAT team as an entry team member, Training Coordinator and Corporal. Steve has served the TTPOA on the Executive Board and Editor of Command magazine for 5 years. Steve is a certified TCLEOSE instructor for the Austin Police Deptartment and the TTPOA.

Paul holds a Master Peace Officer Certification and has been a member of the Irving Police Department for 17 years. He has been assigned to the SWAT Team for the past 13 years and currently serves on the entry team. He has served on the TTPOA Board since 2000 as Region 7 Director, Interim Vice-President and Vendor Coordinator.

WEB ADMINISTRATOR Michael Munday
Fort Worth PD
Michael Munday is the TTPOA Web Administrator and is employed with the Fort Worth Police Department, Data Management Section. Before joining the Fort Worth Police Department in May 2007, he was employed at the City of Denton from December 2005 to April 2007, and was with the North Richland Hills Police Department from 1998 to 2005.
Michael has served the TTPOA since 2004.
