Course Overview
The Tactical Arrest and Control Procedures (TACP) Course is specialized training derived from the Special Operations Combatives Program. This hands-on, physically intensive course is designed specifically for SWAT operations, equipping officers with tactical skills essential for real-world applications.

TACP will compliment any departments Defensive Tactics. The real-world techniques, tactics, and procedures are easily digested, easy to teach and employ. This program is derived from techniques from SOCP and SOS-D with heavy emphasis on less than lethal options. This course allows for a 2-hour Training module to be plugged into any existing program. This gives the organizations the ability to customize and evolve their Defensive Tactics gradually. This program helps agencies develop realistic/safe scenarios and drills to allow students to evolve their decision-making under stress.

Instructor Information
Charles Pittman - Special Operations Combatives Program
Holds a third degree black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and current works as the combative and use of force instructor with the Regional Counter Drug Training Academy with the Mississipi Counter Drug Program. Duties include teaching the SOCP and TACP program to military and law enforcement. Previous experience as a skills instructor for the Regional Public Safety Institute run by the University of Southern Mississippi where he oversaw the physical conditioning program, defensive tactics, and firearms training. Law enforcement experience includes working with the Hattiesburg Police Dept, Attorney General's office, and assigned to the DEA Mobile Enforcement Team before serving as a SWAT Team sniper and Assaulter.
