TTPOA Region 7 will be hosting a 5 day Tactical Entry Course instructed by TOMAHAWK STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS. The five-day Tactical Entry Course of Instruction will establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in regards to Close Quarters Clearing (CQC) methodical and threshold clearance operations.

TTPOA Region 7 will be hosting a 5 day Tactical Entry Course instructed by TOMAHAWK STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS. The five-day Tactical Entry Course of Instruction will establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in regards to Close Quarters Clearing (CQC) methodical and threshold clearance operations.

 

The class will be instructed by the listed instructors:

 

Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Matthew Coufalik retired from the US
military in 2016 after 20 years of service in the Special Operations community, including
eight years at SEAL team TWO and ten years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group.
During his tenure, Senior Chief Coufalik conducted 13 combat deployments in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and several other missions
worldwide. His many combat commendations include the Silver Star Medal, three Bronze
Star Medals with combat valor, three Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat
valor, two Navy and Marine Commendation Medals with combat valor, the Defense
Meritorious Service Award, three Presidential Unit Citations, and numerous other joint and
individual awards.

 

Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Alex West retired from the US Navy in 2018 after 20 years of service in the Special Operations Community. During his enlistment, he served three years at SEAL TEAM Three, 11 years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group and over four years in various instructor positions on the West Coast SEAL Teams. Alex conducted 15 combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and several other missions worldwide. Some of his combat commendations include the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, five Joint Service Commendation Medals (three with combat valor), the Defense Meritorious Service Award, six Presidential Unit Citations and several other combat and non-combat related awards

 

Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Robin Miller retired from the US military in 2018
after 20 years of service in the Special Operations community, including five years at SEAL
Delivery Vehicle Team One, three years at SEAL Team Five, and seven years at Naval Special
Warfare Development Group. During his tenure, Chief Miller conducted 11 combat
deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and
several other missions worldwide. His many combat commendations include the Silver Star
Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, The Purple Heart, three Joint Service
Commendation Medals with combat valor, three Navy and Marine Commendation Medals
with combat valor, two Presidential Unit Citations, and numerous other joint and individual
awards.

 

Class will begin Monday January 7th at the Garland Police Department located at 1891 Forest Lane, Garland, Texas 75042

 

Cost is $1400.00

 

Learning Objectives:
The Basic Tactical Entry course will train and evaluate an individual’s and unit’s performance on
several topics, including:
A. Establishing SOP’s/Threat Priorities
B. Threat De-Escalation/Identification
C. Two - Four Person Room Entries
D. Room Pie Methods (1-2 person)
E. Angles/Cross-Pan
F. Multiple Rooms
G. De-Confliction
H. Stairway/Hallway Movement
I. Single/Dual Entries
J. Team Size Movement

 

 

Prerequisites

Students mus be a certified peace officer or active military personnel in good standing with their agency.  Students must be able to provide an agency ID on the first day of class.

 

Personal Gear
● Helmet
● Eye protection
● Tactical vest
● Duty belt
● Simunition rifle (or equivalent)
● Have a sling for your training rifle
● Simunition pistol (or equivalent)
● Simunition magazines

● Gloves
● Department mandated safety gear for simunition training (We will not be doing
force on force until the end of the week)
● Everything you need for a tactical entry (no comms needed)
● ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMUNTION or KNIVES

250 Rounds of SIMUNITION AMMO


Note: Please have each individual that is attending the training place a 2-inch piece of
masking tape on the back of their helmet and write their last name on it.
