The TTPOA and the Brownsville Police Department will be hosting a 2 day Armored Vehicle Operations course that will be instructed by Robbie Allmon (owner and lead instructor for P2-Concepts). Students will receive 16 TCOLE credit hours for completing this course.

The purpose for this course is to instruct students on how to operate an armored vehicle in tactical situations while utilizing the vehicle for optimum protection.  Each student will have a better understanding of the different capabilities and deployment concepts of their agencies armored vehicles.  Officers will learn topics such as deploying your vehicle in high risk situations, proper positioning of your TRV, shooting from in and around the vehicle, tactical pulls, and downed rescue drills just to name a few.  Through the crawl, walk, run method students will be tested with realistic but challenging live fire drills and force on force scenarios


Class Fee:  TTPOA Members = $300

                    NON-TTPOA Members = $300




  1. Must be a licensed sworn law enforcement officer/agent (or active/reserve military) with arrest authority and be in good standings with your agency.
  2. Must be able to participate in intensive training lasting up to 10 hours per day.
  3. Must not have any medical restrictions


  1. Ballistic or bump helmet
  2. Duty gear/Tac gear (body armor, duty belt with holster and magazine pouches, etc..)
  3. Rifle w/sling
  4. Pistol
  5. Rifle ammunition (live fire) - 300 rounds
  6. Pistol ammunition (live fire) - 100 rounds
  7. Personal PPE for force on force training (face & groin protection is mandatory)
  8. Force on Force Conversion bolt for rifle (simunition, UTM, etc..)
  9. Force on Force Conversion kit for pistol (simunition, UTM, etc..)
  10. 100 rounds rifle force on force Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (simunition, UTM, etc..)
  11. 100 rounds pistol force on force Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (simunition, UTM, etc..)
  12. writing material
  13. camelback or other means of hydration
  14. appropiate wear (BDU, agency t-shirt/long sleeve or short sleeve, boots, etc..)
