FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS OF MANUAL BREACHING

1. UNDERSTAND CONSTRUCTION = UNDERSTAND DESTRUCTION = TACTICAL ADVANTAGE

2. PROPER TECHNIQUE + PROPER TOOLS > BRUTE STRENGTH

3. SPEED INCREASES PROBABILTY OF SAFETY

4. PROPER TECHNIQUE + REPITITION = PROFICIENCY

5.11 Tactical has answered the needs when it comes to breaching doors, windows or whatever you need opened to solve the incident. The 5.11 Breaching System includes their new line of breaching tools. This Breaching System was developed by 5.11 Tactical product development manager, Tim Terry, 5.11 Tactical US lead breacher, and two team members from a Swedish Hostage Rescue Team (HRT).

Lars Ingesson has been the lead Breacher and Instructor on the full-time Swedish HRT team since 1998. A respected trainer in all forms of breaching; from mechanical, hydraulic to explosive, Lars has trained many of the best known tactical teams in Europe. Patrik Gustavsson is a former HRT team leader with a background as an engineer.

The two developed Sweden Entry Tools (SET) after finding their current tools weren’t up to the task of breaching high-level security doors. By combining Patrik’s knowledge as an engineer with Lars’ experience in breaching techniques, S.E.T. has perfected a faster, safer and more effective mechanical breaching system, available through 5.11 Tactical.
