This two-day course focuses on the mechanics of marksmanship at speed with a pistol. This course is not about tactics, but instead is about skill with the firearm. Your skill at shooting drives your tactics, and the ability to make a shot with precision, rapidly, and under pressure, is of paramount importance.

In order to develop the necessary level of skill to make precise shots in compressed timeframes under stress, correctly understanding how to train is absolutely essential. This class is very much about how to structure your own personal training to shortcut your learning curve and reach mastery as quickly as possible for you. Our goal is for every student to finish this class with a deeper understanding of how to construct their personal training in order to improve as efficiently as possible.

COST FOR THE COURSE IS $350 for members and $400 for non

About GreyBeard Actual LLC

Our primary instructor, Matthew Little, is a US Army Special Forces combat veteran who has extensive law enforcement experience, including serving as the training coordinator and an operational supervisor on a major metropolitan SWAT team, and has worked as a government contractor in non-permissive environments. He is also ranked as a Master Class shooter by the US Practical Shooting Association. He has instructed foreign and US military personnel and police officers in firearms, combatives, and tactics. This instructional experience was not solely academic, as he was usually then leading his students operationally either in combat or in arguably the most violent major city in North America.

At GreyBeard Actual, LLC, our intent is not to just entertain, or simply run practice sessions for our students. We view our role as coaches and our students as athletes. Our classes are intended to provide insights that our students can take back to their own training in order to shorten their own path to mastery. We want to shortcut the learning curve so that each student can avoid detours and dead ends in their training journey.

Equipment List

-Each student should have a minimum 1,500 rounds of ammunition. I recommend more. Many of our drills are experiential in nature, and we want to get in as many quality repetitions on them as possible.

-For individual loadout, each student needs the following: Quality handgun of 9mm or larger caliber. As many magazines as possible, and a secure method of carrying at least two spare magazines on their person. A quality secure holster appropriate for your duty assignment - AIWB, IWB, OWB, retention, concealed, open. All of those options are fine. Comfortable durable clothing and quality eye and ear protection. I prefer electronic earpro for ease of instruction. Bring hydration, nutrition and any other comfort items to support a strenuous day on the range.
